It is with great sadness that we are announcing Market Days at Liberty Crossing will be suspended indefinitely. Our inability to hold the market, this month and into the foreseeable future, due to COVID-19, has forced us to close our doors. We want to thank all of you for your support and dedication to the market over the last two years.

Our doors will be open today from 10:00-5:00. We do not have large crowds and will be sanitizing like crazy to create a safe shopping space for you. We are also offering curbside pickup for anyone who would rather not leave the car during this time. Send us a message & let us know what we can do to help brighten your day. We are thankful for all of you who are continuing to support your local small businesses during this terribly uncertain time. 💙

Full disclosure: Talking about anything to do with shopping for anything other than your essential needs right now doesn’t feel right, if I’m being honest.

I sit here with a back room stacked full of over 500 pieces of new Spring merchandise that has arrived in the last 48 hours, and a building payment coming up, and I’m equal parts nauseous, scared, and conflicted.
With these things weighing heavily on my mind as a small business owner, I am nevertheless making the decision to close our storefront doors until it is safe to open them again. I want to do my part to help “flatten the curve”, but also do not want my business to go bust. As of today, small businesses haven’t been given any protection in this, and each of us still have payments that have to be made with regards to our businesses, no matter what.

In that regard, I will be working behind the scenes photographing all of these new arrivals and putting them online daily here, on our website, and on Instagram, all with links to purchase online. We will offer free shipping as usual, along with curbside pickup from the storefront, and free porch delivery for shipping addresses in Gainesville, Lindsay, or Lake Kiowa. If you opt for curbside pickup or porch delivery, simply notate it in the “Notes”
Section of your online order. Please, please keep your local small businesses in mind right now if you do decide to make purchases.

My prayer for each of us is that we make intelligent decisions with our actions, exhibit compassion and kindness, and help look out for those who really need help right now - the elderly, the single mothers and fathers laid off unexpectedly as a result of these circumstances, at home now with mouths to feed, without a steady income coming in as a result of this, and anyone else put in a tight financial bind from our current circumstances.

I also pray for our doctors, nurses, first responders, law enforcement, caregivers of the young and old, and all others who have no choice but to be in the thick of this.

In light of the rapidly changing circumstances surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are sad to announce that our March 20-22 Market Days event will be canceled. After consulting with the Cooke County Emergency Manager and reviewing applicable CDC guidance, we ultimately felt that this difficult decision was best for the health and well-being of our customers, vendors and surrounding community.

We will continue to highlight our amazing vendors that make Market Days special, so please follow our page and Instagram so you can see their products and shop their websites directly. Supporting small businesses is even more important under these trying circumstances!

We appreciate your understanding. Take care of yourselves, your family, and each other.
