Sweet Scarlett has arrived, and her Gan Gan Jessica & Mom Libby sent us these precious pictures to compare with her 8K image from before she was born.

Can we talk about that little profile?! 🥹 The nose, those full little lips, the cheeks… we definitely see it! 😍

There is something so special about getting a glimpse of your baby’s features before you ever get to hold them — and then getting that first picture after birth and realizing, “That really WAS her!” 🤍

Oh my goodness — another 8K ➡️ REAL BABY comparison! 🥹🩷

Sweet Brooklyn Claire has made her arrival, and her mama, Sara, shared these photos with us so we could see her 8K image beside the real thing.

Look at those cheeks, that little nose and those precious lips! 😍 We absolutely LOVE getting these pictures after our Southern Mommies babies are born. Seeing the sweet faces we first met on the ultrasound screen finally here in mama’s arms never gets old.

Everyone meet beautiful Truett Kate Jones! 🎀

Her mama, Mollie, sent us these precious pictures so we could see just how closely Truett Kate’s 8K images compared to the real thing… and LOOK AT HER! 😭🤍 That little nose, those cheeks, those sweet lips — we can’t get over it!

Mollie shared that they were always scanned by our sweet Jasmine Desirae. One of our favorite parts of Southern Mommies is getting to know families during pregnancy and then finally getting to “meet” the little faces we spent months admiring on the screen. 🥰

💗 These are the women behind Southern Mommies. 💗

Seven amazing sonographers. Seven women who genuinely love what they do. And one team we are incredibly thankful for. 🥹

When you come to Southern Mommies, your ultrasound isn’t performed by someone who simply learned how to take baby pictures. Every woman in this photo is a Registered Sonographer with professional ultrasound education, clinical training, and experience caring for moms and babies.

Among this group are ultrasound educators, sonographers who work directly in OB/GYN practices, and professionals credentialed across multiple areas of ultrasound. There is a LOT of knowledge standing in this picture! 💕

But what makes us most proud isn’t just what comes after their names. It’s the way they love on our mommies. They celebrate the first heartbeats, laugh when babies refuse to cooperate, calm nervous mamas, hug disappointed big sisters, stay a little longer for that stubborn baby, and genuinely become part of some of your sweetest memories.

We may have beautiful technology, but these seven are the heart of Southern Mommies. 🩷

We thank God for the opportunity to serve our community through ultrasound—and for giving us such an incredible team to do it with.

Guard Your Heart

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Proverbs 4:23

The truth is, what we repeatedly give our attention to can, and will, shape our emotional and thought patterns. Guarding our hearts isn't about shutting people out; it's about being intentional about what we allow to influence us. Where we gaze, we graze.

What has been taking up the most space in your heart and mind lately? Is it drawing you closer to God or pulling you toward fear, bitterness, or discouragement?

Father God, help me recognize what needs to be felt, sat with, protected, limited, released and surrendered to You. Give me the wisdom and clarity to guard my heart without hardening it. Help me to consistently come to You when I sway away from leaning into Your Word and guidance. In Jesus' name, Amen.
