🌸⚠️ A FRIENDLY WARNING ABOUT ONLINE FLOWER ORDERING SCAMS! ⚠️🌸 A quick note from your local florist in Springfield, VT! 💐 We want to help protect our customers from the disappointment that can come with ordering flowers through third-party websites.
This photo shared by Halladays in Bellows Falls, VT, is a great example of why ordering directly from your local florist matters!

💐 HERE'S HOW IT CAN HAPPEN:
A customer places a $150 flower order through an online flower-ordering website. The website then forwards the order to a local florist to design and deliver. However, the local florist may receive only $68 of that original $150 to create the arrangement. That means the florist must design the arrangement using only the money received, not the full amount the customer paid.

These third-party services, often called order gatherers, can make it seem like you're ordering directly from a florist when your order is actually being passed along to another business.
🚩 WHY SHOULD YOU BE CAUTIOUS?
👉 The arrangement may look very different from the photo advertised online.
👉 The local florist may receive only a portion of the amount you paid.
👉 Some websites may claim an order has been placed, but the order may never reach a local florist.
👉 Delivery may not be any faster than ordering directly from a local shop.
