I created it because I fell in love with the process of blending oils, working with beeswax, and creating products that felt luxurious, simple, and connected to nature.

Every jar, bottle, and balm is made with care and the hope that it becomes a small, beautiful part of your day.

I've always been one to want to help people. My dad always urged me to be a nurse because apparently I have that bedside manner nurses have. It may have been because he's a retired nurse and he just saw it in me.

You guys have completely wiped me out of my bug off sticks. I do still have some bug off roll ons made with Jojoba Oil and the same essential oils. And I still have some tick sprays.

I only have a handful of the after bite salves.

If you need anti itch stuff, look at my Arnica and Calendula Salve.

Because sometimes the bugs win. Or you get stung by a bee 🐝

Summertime - when the livin' is easy. Except for the bugs!

I'm sending you this email because I care. I make products that help immensely with bugs and being outside and I want to share them with you.

Plain and simple.

I'm a mom, over here in Maine, with my family and my cats and my gardens, doing all the summer things. Camping, gardening, swimming, hiking, having bonfires in our back yard. But when the bugs are insufferable, these products are what I reach for.

Essential oils have been widely known to deter bugs. And that's exactly what these products are made of, as natural as can be, while still practicing safety and respecting ingredients and proper formulations for what they are.

There's a lot of knowledge that goes into what I do and what I create. There's also a lot of misinformation out there on this great big planet of ours. I weeded through a lot of that information for you so you don't have to.

Summer Collection is here and is always getting better. No need to suffer in silence or with bugs..

Anyways - have a great summer. I know I'll be doing as much as I can to soak it all up!

When you walk into a small shop, what's the first thing that catches your attention?

As a small business owner, I'm always curious what makes someone stop, look around, and say, "Yep, I want to stay here and look around."

I think I'm consistently hearing people when they walk in and say, "Oh my gosh it smells so good in here!"

I don't get why Instagram and Facebook keep deleting my captions...it's getting really annoying.

I know consistency is important but when I need a day to reset, I take the day. Burn out is not an option for me so I, and we (all humans) need to acknowledge that.
