Rebecca Boxleitner and her husband are here on vacation from Millersville, PA. They booked a trip with Captain Tim Hagerich on his inshore charter boat, Black Pearl, this Wednesday, May 27. They had an evening charter and after 5:00pm she landed this 51 and 3/4in red drum in the sound. She reports her fish was caught on cut bait 100y off a flat in windy conditions. She released her fish safely back to the water. Sounds like a great evening on the Sound!

Dave Franza sent us a pic of his Citation Black Drum catch from his visit here last week! He was fishing with Capt Bob's Charters near Hatteras Inlet. We wonder if it's his Frisco Rod and Gun shirt or his Red Drum Tackle cap that brought him the luck? I'm going with both! Thanks for shopping island local--we all appreciate it! Awesome catch!
