Every time I close or move a store, I swear it comes with more hair loss and about 200 more white hairs. For those who know me, you know this isn’t my first rodeo. I have to say—it’s painful like a wound in the heart that eventually heals, but still leaves its mark.
When I opened this gift shop in Frisco, it happened quickly—and now, with the closing, I’ve had to pivot just as fast. I believe that when something isn’t working out the way we planned, it’s better to move quickly than to dwell. So, I’m moving on from this space and focusing all my efforts on the online shop and at my tiny shop in Carrollton.
I’m deeply sad because I know I created something special here, and I met so many wonderful people through this shop. Some of my closest friends in Texas came into my life because of this store, and I’ll always be grateful for this community. You all showed up for me and have been so good to me. Thank you. I will always cherish each and every one of you.
But I also know that the closing of this chapter is the beginning of a new one—and I’m hopeful. I feel relieved, excited, and ready for what’s next for my family and me. I’m so blessed to have a community that supports me and a family that sticks by me—especially when I keep choosing the hardest paths 😅.
Thank you to my Gifty fam, and to my husband and kids—I love you all so much ❤️. I’ll still be online, and I’ll be putting my efforts into the Carrollton store, which I have high hopes for. So follow along on my journey!
Frisco friends! I can always do free delivery to Frisco—just reach out and I’ll be here for you 😍!
Now hopefully I’ll have some time to work on my much-needed tan this summer! 🤭😛😉
