I love thinking of the details that will complement the vision our couples have. Whether it’s the flowers and foliage to add the finishing touch to a custom suit or adding berries, fruit or other textural details that embrace the season. I feel so fortunate to do this work! Partnering with artists such as that recognize and capture these details so vividly is truly a gift!

UPDATE! Back in the spring, I asked for your help to build raised garden beds at the New Day Recovery Cafe which is part of the Joyce L. Sobel Family Resource Center. Because of all who donated this dream was realized! Donations large and small came flowing in and before we knew it the goal was met and work began! New Day members and volunteers built the garden beds (a huge shoutout to Frontier Lumber Friday Harbor), planting soil was delivered (thanks Cattle Point Rock and Topsoil) and then planting started! The bounty has been incredible especially for the first season. See pics below. Thank you for making this dream a reality and thank you to New Day Cafe and the Family Resource Center for ALL you do to keep our community healthy!

Are you wondering how you can make a difference in the world? YOU can make a tangible difference locally TODAY

Camas Designs and New Day Café are partnering to build raised beds to provide food and fellowship for this wonderful organization, and we need your help.

New Day Café supports people who have experienced trauma including housing insecurity, substance use disorders and mental health challenges. Their programs include weekly support circles, nutrition through recovery programs, grandparent support groups and so much more. They offer warm meals Tuesday thru Friday. We’d love members to experience the joy of tending to a garden that produces food that can be shared around a community table.

Your donation of any size will help us complete this project in time for spring planting. You can donate thru the Camas Designs flowerbomb4love project on our website https://www.camasdesigns.com/shop or if you want your donation to be tax deductible, donate directly to the Joyce L. Sobel Family Resource Center/New Day Café and specify New Day Café garden beds.
