Okay folks! We mentioned back in spring when we did our hanging basket giveaway that we might do a mum give away. We have decided to do one! The mums are out of their funk and now we feel comfortable in them to do a giveaway! We are going to give away your choice of a mumbo(tri color) $28 value or 4 9in pot single mums of your choosing a $24 vaule!

Coshocton county EMS reached out to us awhile back asking if we would be willing to donate 10 dozen eggs for their pancake breakfast. Of course we said yes. The mums are really starting to grow and fill out! Finally! We had a rough start to our mum season this year but we're coming out of that and everything is looking good!
A couple Fun Facts about growing mums:

We hand water our mums with our fertilizer mix 2 times a day! We dont have drip or any other automated water system, we water ours with a garden hose with fertilizer mix from totes every day.

Mums can catch spider mites and other mites very easily. They constantly need treated for bugs.

At the young stage mums can root rot very easily, unfortunately this season we've lost almost 90 mums to root rot.

Mums need pure sunlight for a minimum 6-8 hours a day to grow.

They also need air flow to prevent mold and mildew. 18-24 inches apart is recommended for proper spacing and air flow. So they take up alot of room!

We planted 1500 mum plugs this year! Our mumbo pots have 3 plugs per pot while our hanging baskets and 9in pot only have 1.
