Friday Night Tasting: Wines from Portugal
with winemakers Jorge Rosa Santos and Rui Lopes from Família Rosa Santos Wines and Lés-a-Lés

The ‘Implicit’ line of wines to be showcased from the Família Rosa Santos are born from the family’s over five centuries of winemaking. Produced from vineyards in Portugal’s Southern Alentejo, their wines are herbaceous, full of character and a lovely expression of the terroir.
Lés-a-Lés is the result of a desire by Jorge Rosa Santos to recover ancient grape varietals and nearly extinct Portuguese wine styles. Through more than ten years of travel throughout Portugal, literally from “here to there” (Lés à Lés). This joint wine project with winemaker Rui Lopes resulted in an exclusive, limited edition collection that summarizes their travels, ideas and the regions, people, and places that were most impactful. Each wine is a story and travelogue to the deepest Portugal.
