This is the part we don’t talk about enough.
When you don’t share the hard seasons, people assume success is constant. But this year reminded me that growth can feel like loss before it feels like progress.
I started 2025 full of plans—to expand, to grow, to step into what I thought was the next level of Joy's Velitas. Instead, bookings plummeted and I found myself questioning everything. I felt lost in a way I didn’t expect. I felt stuck. I had to pivot. And from that moment of uncertainty, was born.
2025 taught me lessons I didn’t ask for, but it taught me to keep going even when nothing looks promising. If you’re in that space too, you’re not behind—you’re becoming.
Trust the process even when it doesn’t look promising.
