Pending sale: Our counter has been a standout piece at Sublime for these past six years. And now it’s for sale.

The exterior dimensions are 96 inches wide, 24 inches deep at the front and 48 inches deep at the curved end. The counter stands 42 inches high and includes 2 display shelves.

Sliding doors at the back allow access to the interior and its shelves with original hardware. Please message us for more details, including price.

As much as we want to chip away at our remaining stock before we close this month, we're closed today for freaky weather and my being under the weather for day 3. Stay warm indoors everyone!

It's been a great 6 years in Frenchtown. We are so blessed to have enjoyed this run with all who've waltzed through our shop, laughing, giggling, and pulling a friend over to see the card, the tee, the sticker that cracked them up.

And don't get us started on our Evening of Action Park Stories Told By the Survivors that we held in 2024 with the help of emcee Eric Fiorito and playwright Alex Dawson . Scores of stories in the shop triggered by our Action Park merch over the years culminated in 45 folks showing up on a Friday night for a communal sharing of warped experiences among fellow travelers.

It's been an amazing ride.

Still, it's time for us to pull up stakes and forge a new path. You can help in this endeavor by stopping by soon and scooping up some of our beloved cards, sarcastic onesies, toddler tees, and adult tees, plus stickers, magnets, toys, puzzles, and select vintage collectibles.

We'll know we're closing when the shelves are bare!

Next Saturday means party at Sublime! We're celebrating 6 fab years in business and the birthday of me, owner Renée Olson.

There will be cake and yummies, plus epic tales of all the fun we've had in the shop since Covid times.

Mostly, though, it's just an excuse to come together and laugh at 22 Bridge Street in Frenchtown, NJ.

And for making two BIG announcements I'd love to tell you about in person.

If it snows, we'll push this to the next day. Same time, same place!

Happy 2026! Let's toast to the remarkable year that is before us.

Yesterday afternoon, to make way for the new year, we returned Phil, our beloved front window Santa ("I'm a Santa Who's Down to Mirth"), to the stockroom.

On hand for the switcheroo were Tobey (right), a fine friend with a penchant for greeting cards as well as the designer of Phil's snappy stocking hat, and a kind, barely visible, anonymous customer at top left.

Also please note that Phil's cool stache is the work of Sublime staffer .

Next up is a double celebration for Sublime and myself at the shop on Saturday, January 17, at 3pm. Please join us for two hush-hush surprise announcements!

Our star attendee, as usual, will be Jack Kerouac's legit pants.
