So i thought this was a good example to share of why dahlias need pinched after they get a few leaf sets. I snipped the central stem last week and now it has four coming off as a result. If you’re growing for cut flowers you don’t want a huge stem anyway. This is dahlia Nicholas. ☀️

Tulips are such a great crop imo. Everything starts the year before with ordering in summer. I just love being able to work with something directly that represents spring during the coldest winter days, even if that means carrying wood or doing other dirty farm-ish jobs. Anyway, spring is coming and I can’t wait to say I have tulips for sale. 💐
