It's that time of year when one thinks about spring cleaning. We are trying to sell out the old and bring in the new--fabrics, that is! So we are starting with reducing our store of older batiks that need a new home! They are well priced at $9/yd for the "oldest" batiks and $11/yd for "younger" batiks. Sale runs from today through Sunday, 4-19. Come on in and have a look. Our hours are still 10-5 Tuesday to Saturday and 12-4 on Sunday. We will be on our way to Denver/Aurora, CO on Sunday to show our Aboriginal Fabrics at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds, 25690 E. Quincy Ave., Aurora, CO. The show runs Sept. 14 - 16, 2023. We are in booths 909-912. There will be plenty of pretty bolts of Australian fabrics, precuts, 5" and 10" squares in multiple colors, the fusible applique animal patterns, notions and a few lovely purses. We will also be offering the 20 and 40 2 1/2" Dreamtime rolls for 20% off while they last.
I will be offering a lecture titled "Treasures Down Under" about the Aboriginal fabrics, the designers and how you can use them in your quilts. It is every day at 11 a.m. in Classroom 2. You should come away with a new appreciation and understanding of these artistic designers and a little more of how they live.

We leave Tuesday 6-13 for Quilt Show Reno that is being held at the Grand Sierra Resort. Show days are 6-15 to 6-17. We are in booth 419-423. WE will have 16 ft of Aboriginal Fabrics to browse and buy. Our show special is 20% off the 2 1/2" rolls in 20 pieces or 40 pieces. I am giving my lecture on Aboriginal fabrics on Friday @ 11:45 a.m. and Saturday @ 3:30 p.m. on the free stage in the back of the venue.

I haven't shared what I've been working on lately and wanted to show you the most recent t-shirt quilt I made for a customer. The shirts are from a female MMA fighter who has retired and he wanted to present her with this as a memory of what she accomplished. Take a look.
