About this weekend:
I was fortunate to be a vendor at the at and this weekend.
Swipe to see the difference in my booth on day 1 and day 2.
This is my first exclusive book event, let alone a kids fair. And it was intense! Lots of competition from fellow vendors and bookstores. On day 1 I learned that my booth has always catered more to adults and that I need to appeal to the kids as well. A lot of booths were giving away candy but I wanted to stand out and thought BALLOONS 🎈. And it worked.. kind of. All the balloons were gone in the first hour, but I had a lot of kids come by for balloons and I was able to tell the families about my WHY behind Kabooki.

Simple pleasures in life
Number 1 - Coconut water from the tree. I used to have coconut water everyday during my summer visits to my grandparents village. It was also an advantage that we owned a coconut tree farm. I am saddened that my daughter won't experience these as often. She hasn't been to India yet, and when we do it will be for a short duration. The illustrations in this book are some of my memories at my grandparents place. Each page represents something special.

So excited to be lunching this product. Bringing to you The Hungry Crow puzzle. Illustrations by take you to a different time an place. My memories of a village mela ( carnival) included going to the mela in a bullock cart, eating candy from the stalls and buying balloons. Did you attend a village mela when you were little?
