Happy New Year!

If you have been thinking of getting out to do a fun activity to ward off the winter blahs, please join us next Monday for the beginner wheel throwing class!

We start at the beginning and build skills on the wheel and try our hands at glazing our bowls and mugs. The class is 6 weeks long, every Monday from 6-8 pm. If you have taken a beginner class before I would love to introduce some new skills.

Ages 10 and up, $150 per person. Please arrive at 5:15 on the first day for studio orientation.

Hello everyone! I've been preoccupied for several months with other pressing life events, but now I am ready to get back into the studio.

I am planning winter 2023 classes, bringing back the Monday night beginners wheel throwing to start and will add more as time and interest allow.

6-8pm $150 per person includes up to 25lbs of clay, glaze and firing.

American Garage Art is exploring the idea of having more local artists works displayed and having regular art shows. Much of the decisions on this will depend on people wanting to participate with their artwork. We need to know if there's going to be interest from area artist displaying their works and participating in art shows.
We don't know what this is going to look like yet but are looking for participation in the discussion of doing these events. During the Arctic ale and art walk we had a lot of interest expressed by artists that came through and artists that were displaying their works. We were talking about doing this a while ago but covid-19 put a hold on any previous plans we were working on.
