Spotted Circus A place where fun & fiber meet. We raise alpacas, llamas & Teeswater sheep. The more odd the color the more she likes it!

We are a small Alpaca & Teeswater sheep farm in Owen county Indiana that raises high quality fiber for use in luxury garmets & yarn. Elizabeth is a national alpaca spin off judge and teaches fiber classes and retreats across the eastern United States. Elizabeth began with alpacas in 2011 and hit the ground running with fiber arts in mind. After quickly learning to spin, knit, dye and weave she qu

ickly gained a following of her products under Spotted Circus both at festivals & online. She has vended and taught at many prestigious festivals and has been judging spin-offs since 2012 She currently offers classes to take fleece from raw to finished goods and everything in between She has been featured in several online podcasts & vended at the Knit Girllls SSK retreat. Elizabeth is currently breeding Huacaya alpacas with an emphasis on consistent fleeces that remain fine in grey, dark brown and multi colors. She is currently a Master Classer and loves sorting fiber to get it into production. She enjoys talking about fiber and adding super bright colors and sparkle to everything she does.

Big news for the Spotted Circus. We made an offer on a house and are going to be moving our operations to Illinois to be closer to family. As a result the Etsy store will likley be closed to at least mid July because moving after 23 years and a business and farm is a lot!! There might be s

Well 2025 was a year. Thanks to all our amazing customers and friends that we met at all of the festivals this year! Your support means a ton to us. This sadly was a really hard year. It was the roughest year for sales since I started dyeing in 2011. We had to rehome the alpacas near the end of the year because finances just weren't making sense with them. I've also taken on a full time job which will cut into any dyeing time I have. We are looking to relocate to Illinois to be closer to family and we will see how this year goes. It may be getting near the end of my dyeing journey. This coming year will decide a lot of things for us.
I'll be publishing our 2026 festivals soon so stop by and say hi if you get a chance.
