One of our goals at the new Freedom Village Store is to help you come up with new meals using foods made or grown by our wonderful local and regional producers. This week we are sharing my favorite sourdough French toast recipe. It’s a rich, tangy, and lightly sweet way to start your day. You can get your local sourdough, eggs, milk, syrup and even a fresh orange this weekend at the store. Be sure to ask for a recipe card and try it for yourselves!

We will be releasing a new recipe twice a month Keep an eye out!

Today, the Freedom Old Home Week Committee announced a new collaboration with Freedom Elementary School — FOHW coasters designed by the students! Eight designs were selected for this year’s collection and one will feature Tessa’s delightful drawing of the Freedom Village Store! Congratulations to all the students whose drawings were selected this year! You can get them starting on Ducky Day, June 20th. We can’t wait to see them!

Getting stationery orders for the store always feels like my birthday. Today we received a package of the sweetest new notecards, gift wrap, and tea towels from Maine’s ! They’re sure to bring a smile to the face of any recipient. Check them out this week! 🫐
