I can make reels in almost any color imaginable, and I manufacture parts in house for my mag brakes. I try to make the reel fit the individual. I have been tuning reels for 15 years for my own gain, and as soon as peo

ple started to see my work, Reel Kustom Reels has really taken off. I am a dealer for Akios reels and Tommy Farmer rods. I buy from around the world to keep NEW Abu made in Sweden reels in stock. I can build a new ABU from scratch in any color and configuration. I have exclusive modifications like dual anti reverse and ball bearing power handles that I have developed. All my modifications have been torture tested before I offer them for sale. I do not generally sell "do it yourself" parts other than tension caps and handles. My mag units are individually fitted to each reel. I can build you the best reel money can buy-period.

That 50 is a breeze to cast with the mag. The mag brakes are sized to the reel. Bigger heavier spool= stronger mag.
My slosh mags- all brass with insert powder coated gold to match the trim rings. K**b is flat black. I can do the trim rings etc all flat black. Or I can put a translucent powder over the gold so it shines through.

I decided to repair that sealine plate just to see- it looks OK. That’s some JB weld plastic bonder. I machined a brass plug that’s now glued in and milled the side plate so it would set even.
But the replacement plate is the way I’m going.

Still more Saltigas! These are honestly the top of the line. The Saltist is the best Drum reel at its price point. The Saltiga is the top of the line at its price. These reels are really in a league of their own. Worth every penny. And with my custom mag they are a breeze to cast!

Seigler SM mag upgrade. My mag fits a significantly stronger magnet in the same spot- with 7 turns of wind off (this had barely one with original mag). I also correct the spool tension and set it so it can’t move on its own.
