👀 Coming soon… ✝️
After much-needed time to reflect and grow in our faith, Mountains Making Men, will be our new project and the focal point of Real Mountain Company. Now openly faith-based, it is always His righteousness we should seek and not our own.
We welcome all to join this journey of faith, personal growth, and simply becoming a better man through a relationship with God. Real men… dedicated to living life by a higher-code.
The past few years made us realize we had so much more work to do on ourselves and still do. If we feel we are longing for something in life, then it is likely we still need to seek a deeper relationship with Christ. John 7:37-38 says, "Jesus stood up and cried out, 'If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. The one who believes in me, as the scripture has said, will have streams of living water flow from deep within him.'"
This project aims to avoid judgment and condemnation of others for their choices and appearance. John 7:24 advises, "Stop judging according to outward appearances; rather judge according to righteous judgment." If what we are doing is wrong, then it is wrong; however, that does not put any of us in a place of looking at that person as any less of a human being than any of us. And just because we go to church and put on a mask of holiness does not actually mean our heart is truly seeking the righteousness of God.
Much of our walk up the mountain to find Christ has shown us that much of our job is to help others see Christ through us, and much of that starts with spreading love to everyone around us.
The scribes and Pharisees brought Jesus an adulteress in hopes of trapping him for speaking against Moses' commands to stone such a woman. In John 8:7, Jesus stood up and said to them, "The one without sin among you should be the first to throw a stone at her."
Constantly learning and acknowledging our imperfections, we all face battles with sin and temptations, and we realize we are in no place to judge anyone for their sin and life choices. Now, this does not excuse us to continue to ignore our own sinful ways, but we must also realize we will never be perfect. The most important piece is to do our best to seek and be more like Christ each day.
John 8:31-32 records Jesus saying to the Jews who had believed him, "If you continue in my word, you really are my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
As we continue to learn more about the Word of God and what it means to truly become a better man, with Mountains Making Men, together we can embark on the pursuit of truth and excellence, growing into better men and/or leaders of men through Christ.
After the death and resurrection of Jesus, Jesus' eleven disciples traveled to the mountain in Galilee, and Matthew 28:18-20 says, "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember I am with you always, to the end of age.'”
