🚀 Rocket ship!!!

At Wheel Base we love working on all our customers' bikes, but every once in a while a special project rolls in. This BORA–hansgrohe team-edition bike was built from the frame up in our service department.

We love our Treks, but we have to admit Specialized has something here with this S-Works Tarmac SL8 🔥
What do you think? Hot or not? 👇

🧚‍♀️ The Muc-Off fairy just paid us a visit! 💖

Our rep dropped off a pile of goodies: C3 ceramic chain l***s, No Puncture Hassle tubeless sealant, Dark Energy chain wax, tubeless valves, puncture plugs, and more.

We're big fans. Muc-Off makes solid stuff and stays right on top of what riders actually need.
Now we want to hear from YOU 👇
🔹 Have you used Muc-Off? What's your go-to?
🔹 Want to see more of it on our shelves?

🧼Best kept secret about bicycle maintenance🔧

Measure your chain📏. Chain manufacturers say you should get 1000-3000 miles out of a chain, depending on riding conditions and how you maintain your bike.

As your chain wears, it lengthens. We use a chain checker tool to gauge how much your chain has lengthened(pictured). When your chain reaches 0.5% it’s time for a new chain. At 0.75% the wear has started to extend to other parts and repairs can get costly. (The bike pictured needed $250 of parts instead of a $20 chain)

If you haven’t checked your chain recently, stop by the shop. We don’t charge to measure your chain, and we can do it immediately.

Want to measure your chain yourself? For $15-$20 we can sell you the tool.

Check your chain today and avoid costly repairs in the future.
