A bookstore selling Magic the Gathering cards should absolutely be carrying the Hobbit Play Booster packs. Come on in and grab your cards today. I also have more Pokemon Elite Trainer boxes and Pitch Black and Chaos Rising cards.

It's not often I get in the nook because getting out isn't as easy when you're tall and a bit more seasoned (older) than others, but how do I not read a book to my great niece?

And we enjoyed Clover and the Shooting Star by local author and friend .

Today is Bookstore Romance Day.
It is also Relaxation Day.

I can't think of another way to celebrate both than to come in to the shop, grab a cookie (free today while supplies last - thank you to and bit of Sweetness) and coffee or tea, buy a book and sit on the patio or on the window seat. We have a large selection of romance and romantasy as well as other genres from which to choose.

We also carry honey from our own hives, and an assortment of puzzles, games and gifts - several with a romance theme.

And the Bookshop mascots - Page and Turner - are here to greet you and hope you grab something from our Bookstore Romance Day table. (They would be happy with you grabbing something from any table or shelf in the store but they are especially excited about their display.)

We are open until 6 p.m. Come in and say "aaahhhhh."

Saturday, August 15 is Bookstore Romance Day. Celebrate romance authors, readers and indie bookstores.

How will we be celebrating? Let us count the ways:
1. Bookstore Romance Day Tarot Readings
Romance and Tarot readings often go together. Come see what I have to say. (Please reserve your spot online.) Readings take about 15-20 minutes.

Readings will be done in the privacy of the second floor conference room or outdoor space (weather/people permitting).

2. Drink, eat, read, relax.

Don't forget that we have Pokemon cards and Elite Trainer Boxes as well as Magic the Gathering Aetherdrift and Marvel, and Dungeons and Dragons guides, dice and other accessories.

Coming in November - Magic the Gathering Star Trek! We plan to have cards, Commander Decks and Play Boosters. If you are interested, let us know so we can order the appropriate number!
