The US Army 369th Infantry Regiment, better known as the Harlem Hellfighters, photographed on the deck of the ship 'Stockholm' on the 12 February 1919 as they return to New York from Europe following the end of the First World War.

The Harlem Hellfighters is known for being one of the first African-American regiments to serve with the American Expeditionary Forces during World War I, and they spent 191 days in frontline trenches which is more than any other American unit.
