Carenet Thrift Store We are a non-profit thrift store where all proceeds go directly back to our community. CareNet is located in Franklin, NC.

The Macon County Care Network, also known as CareNet, is a non-profit, tax exempt corporation, established in 1988, by churches of Macon County, North Carolina. We are a non-denominational ministry which serves as a central location to provide relief for those in crisis. When help from other agencies is either unavailable or insufficient, CareNet provides food and limited financial assistance with

other necessities, such as prescriptions, utilities, fuel, and rent on an emergency basis. CareNet is supported by churches, donations, grants and the CareNet Thrift Store (formerly Bargains Galore). The store was started in 1998 to raise money for CareNet clients and program costs. CareNet is fortunate to have wonderful partnerships within the community that host annual fundraisers to support our missions!
