Still a little surprised by this one… 🌻

I entered sunflowers in two different categories and one of my marigolds at the Williamson County Fair this year and was blessed to come home with first place in both sunflowers and second place for my marigold!

I’m certainly no expert!!

Just someone who loves putting seeds in the ground, getting my hands dirty, and seeing what happens. Some years the garden teaches you patience, and every once in a while, it gives you a pretty sweet surprise.

Feeling very grateful…and maybe just a tiny bit proud of these big, beautiful sunflowers. 🌻💛
