Franklin Coin Shop will be closed from June 25th through July 5th as we celebrate a very special occasion—our wedding!

This is an exciting milestone for us, and we’re grateful for the support and friendships we’ve built with all of our customers over the years. Thank you for allowing us to take a little time away to celebrate with our family and friends.

Important Update from Franklin Coin Shop:

Due to historic market volatility in gold and silver, we are temporarily halting all purchases for the remainder of this week. We will resume our normal operations next week, February 2nd.

Over the past several months, gold and silver have experienced extraordinary price movements and sustained demand, levels not seen in decades. When precious metals move this fast and this far, it creates a ripple effect throughout the entire industry — far beyond what most people ever see.

Behind the scenes, this means:
• Wholesalers are overwhelmed with inbound material
• Refineries are experiencing extended processing and melt times
• Settlement and payment timelines have become significantly delayed

In simple terms: metal is moving faster than it can be processed, refined, and reimbursed

Rather than risk delays, uncertainty, or compromised service to our customers, we believe it’s the responsible choice to pause gold and silver purchases until the supply chain stabilizes and normal turnaround times return.

With that in mind, Franklin Coin Shop will be CLOSED for the remainder of this week as we complete internal inventory processing during this historic active market period.
