My recent trip to Marco Island, Florida 🏝️ inspired this illustration that made me remember my childhood and took me back to my experience in Bali. Being born in the tropics — my roots are by the sea. I still dream it every now and then. There’s something so freeing about being at the beach or by the sea 🌊 — I tend to gravitate toward it.

Did you know that mailing a Square envelope cost more than the standard Rectangular envelope??? They cost close to double forever stamps! Best to give this awesome square card in person!

“If tomorrow all my things were gone — I’d work for all my life. And I had to start again with just my children and my wife. I’d thank my lucky stars to be livin’ here today,
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom, and they can’t take that away.

And I’m proud to be an American — Where at least I know I’m free. And I won’t forget the ones who died who gave that right to me. And I’ll gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today. Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land, God Bless the USA.”

— Lee Greenwood

Despite the difference of opinions each of us may have with this year’s heated election, let’s continue to respect one another. Healthy exchange of conversations would be beneficial if it causes any confusion. In the end, we all want the best for our country as a whole for citizens from all walks of life.

Happy Halloween! 👻 🐈 🐱
I saw one of Mason’s drawings and asked if I could render it. Such a cute idea — I had fun rendering it in color! Full credits go to Mason for his concept sketch and development!

This illustration is inspired by the Cardinals that frequently visit my bird feeder. ✨They are one of my favorite birds because of how beautiful and amazing they are!✨

In the Spring 🌿to early Summer ☀️, the backyard is filled with tunes of nature, most especially Cardinals to be the most distinctive. Then in the Winter ❄️ , they visit often to fill up their bellies.

Did you know that cardinals are devoted partners and parents? Most of the time whenever you see a male cardinal, you will see the female with him. Male Cardinals show their devotion by feeding the female before she has even laid her eggs. Their loving care extends to their chicks, which remain in the nesting territory for several weeks. They are fed by their father even after their mother has laid her second clutch of eggs. Quite fascinating — and what a beautiful thing of nature!

For the longest time, I had a deep feeling about this artwork. I had drawn it in my sketchbook years ago, but never finished it and recently felt the urge to finish. I knew for sure that God was working through me. Then strangely today, the Bible reading (Ephesians 4:30-5:2) read at church is exactly how I had thought to pass on and hope to inspire. If peace is what we want, the task is simple. Sometimes we have to analyze ourselves. Words and actions matter. And it’s about how we deliver them that would make an imprint on others, or even inspire positive change in someone’s life. God works through us in mysterious ways, but only if we are willing.
