Frankenmuth Taffy Kitchen Our family has been cooking, pulling and wrapping our taffy on original 1900's machinery since 1985. Come and see us make our anytime.

We do things the original way to give you that light fluffy taffy to remind you of your childhood! Giving our "tip of the cap" to Michigan's Great Lakes. We took the original Salt Water recipe from Atlantic City, and made it Pure Michigan. We make our batches with water filtered directly from our Great Lakes. After all, these Great Lakes are the pride of Michigan, and also the pride of our taffy!

We are proud to be the only Taffy in the country to sport the "Fresh Water Taffy" name. We think you'll be feeling pretty fresh after tasting our mouth watering creation! It'll bring you back to your childhood with every bite!

Built in 1919, this incredible machine is still hard at work today running with all of its original parts, except for the motor! 🤯

Even after more than a century, it can wrap 180 pieces of taffy every minute, making it the fastest (and arguably hardest-working 😉) member of our team. puremichig
