Howdy friends! Join us on the May 19th Desolation-Gray Green River trip with & !!

This 5-day rowing expedition covers 84 miles of the Green River through the remote Desolation & Gray Canyons. The adventure begins with a scenic charter flight from Green River to the remote put-in at Sand Wash. From there, you’ll float through towering canyon walls on 18’ rafts & a historic wooden boat, or choose to paddle your own inflatable kayak!for a more active experience.

The Green River in this stretch is famous for its playful character, with more than 60 fun, moderate rapids that are perfect for building confidence and simply having a good time on the water. Days are filled with river miles, swimming, and hikes to ancient rock art panels, outlaw cabins, and hidden canyon overlooks that tell the long story of this remote desert landscape.

This trip will also feature a special musical element with Morgan Snow of Triggers & Slips, a Salt Lake City–based Americana band. Known for blending country, folk, and roots rock into a powerful and authentic sound, their music carries the kind of storytelling spirit that feels right at home in canyon country.

Expect a few unforgettable evenings around the campfire as Morgan shares songs under the desert sky—an intimate setting that echoes the way their music first began: among friends, campfires, and small gatherings.

Evenings are spent camping on sandy beaches beneath brilliant desert stars, with awesome gourmet food, great company, and music drifting through the canyon. The trip concludes at Swasey’s Rapid, where a van shuttle returns the group to our Green River warehouse.
