‼️HAPPY NATIONAL SMALL BUSINESS DAY‼️ Starting a business ain’t no joke I’m telling yall! But so incredibly fulfilling and rewarding. I truly LOVE what I do. Being able to be a stepping stone for these women and children! I love it. Thank you God for this dream. Thank you for choosing me and finding me somehow worthy of such a task. Whewww. I don’t know of this will ever not bring me to tears! Our loving Jennifer. Sweet caring mother who just wanted better for her children. She met a man who promised her the world. He left. He left her and the kids. Having been told all her life that she is a woman and made for no more than cooking and child bearing, she never graduated. Never even made it past early elementary. She did what they told her and she learned to cook and waited for a man to come and provide. After he left, she realized she had no backup plan. Oh but are women ever so resilient. She figured it out. Farming here and there. Selling any and everything she could grow. And when it wasn’t enough, she begged for food for her and her children. She had a lot of hopes for this skill center. She wanted her kids to grow up standing on their own feet just as she was starting to. My heart breaks for her because she never got to see the end result. She didn’t get to see the fruits of her labor. So in honor of Mothers Day, all proceeds will go to her children! Because we take care of our own at ZabwinoGoods.

I tried to make it short but y’all know how I am by now! Who are we, ZabwinoGoods. What do we do? We empower the people of Malawi through our skill center where we work with single mothers. We teach them different skills that they can then use to make a living with. We provide jobs teachers and craftsmen. We do this as well as sell beautiful handmade products. It wouldn’t let me post these with the video. I said I’m BACK!! Had some seriously hard conversations with myself. Sometimes a look in the mirror is what you need. At some point, we have to look at our situation and ask what am I doing to contribute to this cycle that I have found myself in? Because at some point, it’s not your parents. It’s not that one thing from ten years ago. It’s not your lack of a x, y, or z it’s simply YOU! I kept telling God but I need this first and THEN. Once THIS is settled, then I’ll… and I feel so deeply Him saying use what you HAVE NOW! How can I expect to be entrusted with more when I’m not even handling THIS well? I felt at the beginning of this year that this year has the potential to be my very best year. But realized that I was the one stunting my own growth. And sometimes enough is enough! My accountability partner Destiny McKee won’t let up on me so here’s to pushing yourself even when you don’t want to. Here’s to making this year the best year for me in business and my personal life!

These are REAL numbers in REAL time! Malawian Kwatcha is decreasing in value. It’s effecting all of our bothers and sisters in Malawi. Imagine 5 people giving $10 a month? Imagine being able to feed a family with $50 for a whole month? Even $10 is enough to buy a meal. Some of y’all pay more than that for all those subscriptions you got. Uh oh. Not me calling y’all out. When I say every dollar goes farther than you know, I mean EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR! $50 a month and a mother and her children are fed! A MONTH! I don’t think y’all are grasping that. This is why I do what I do. It matters. Every dollar matters. Every purchase matters. Every donation MATTERS! My inbox is always open for those that want to know more about how they can be of a blessing to those in need!

Coming to this realization that as much as you want to stick it out with people, platonic or romantic, everyone is NOT meant to be with you in every season. Trying to hold onto people whose time in my life had expired has cost me joy, peace, sleep, and blessings! I can 100% say I wouldn’t be where I am now had I listened the first time. (I can hear all my friends collectively say “amen” to this.) But man am I grateful for this realization. Am I grateful for deciding to take the temporary hurt so that I can find the people that ARE meant to go with me through the next season and the next! Again: Some people are only MEANT to serve you for a reason. They come in, teach you what you need to be taught, and then we are to let them GO! In love. And in peace. And that’s OKAY! Simply just how it is sometimes. Don’t drink yourself to fit in someone’s life. Don’t sacrifice your peace or joy to stay connected with someone. I promise it’s going to be okay!! Choose yourself!

Re-Introduction for 2024!
My name is Linda and I’m simply a girl trying to heal, tell people about some of those healing techniques, and see how many people I can take with me to the finish line! I’m 23 and I have a PASSION and a HEART for helping the lovely beautiful people of Malawi! Yes, I struggle with mental health. No, you won’t be able to make me feel ashamed for it as some have tried! And this IS my year! One of my prayers the last few months has been for God to put me in the position I need to be in order to properly RECEIVE what it is that He has for me. Let me tell you a prayer NOT to pray if you aren’t ready for a major shift: THAT one! But I am excited because there’s a sense of peace in the chaos. I tried to put together my life how I wanted. When it didn’t work, I went to God and He looked at me like, “Well since you didn’t want to listen, you know I’m gonna have to undo all that so I can put the right pieces in the right place right?👀” And that process is NOT pain free! I’m not perfect! I make mistakes but I feel so strongly that this year can be and has the potential to be the BEST year so far for me. So here’s to joy! Here’s to fresh starts. Here’s to choosing yourself even when it hurts. Here’s to 2024 and me getting along!❤️❤️
