A Labor of Love

Born and raised in the lush green forested area of Humboldt and Trinity counties, Steve Kelley has always found beauty in the trees. As a teenager, Steve worked with his family, pulling bark off log pulls to build their family home and shop. There, by the shores of Ruth Lake, his love for woodworking began.

Steve now resides in the Eel River Valley with his wife of 18 years, three children (two of which are teenaged twins), and his dogs. Other than family, Steve’s greatest joy is creating beautiful things for others to enjoy.

What started as a fun project with reclaimed wood became a business by adding stunning, sturdy designs and resin elements to items such as wine glasses, bottle openers, jewelry, kitchen items, and furniture.
