Best New Restaurant: Cocodrie’s Bayou Kitchen

This new Cajun food destination in North Richland Hills (5209 A Rufe Snow Dr.) is from former Louisiana shrimper Jesse Gibson, who previously sold crawfish, gumbo, oysters, and king cakes under his brand, The Wild Cajun.

Named for a small fishing community near Gibson's hometown, Cocodrie's is where hundreds lined up to devour 1,300 pounds of crawfish and two gators grilled over an open fire on Fat Tuesday in February.

For those of you following along today makes 1 year since my departure from my first restaurant.
What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger.
Thank you to all that have stood by me the whole way! Cocodries is where my heart is and although we are still new in dfw with this spot. I am going to turn this into something truly special.

I never could’ve imagined not only getting to open my own place but doing it twice in under a year. I am forever grateful for the communities support. I’ve never underestimated you.

When you go to order through our app, SELECT LIVE CRAWFISH AND SEAFOOD, WHOLE SACKS OF LIVE.

Crawfish are the only items that deposits are required. Everything else we can quantify and charge in full.

Once you have selected your items and you have them in the cart, proceed to the checkout where you can select your pick up time and date.

Once you have all necessary information accounted for, choose your payment method and your order should be processed! We will have it ready for you at the selected time and date that you asked for!
