Yesterday was a proud day for our family and our business.

Jeremy worked with us before leaving last summer to pursue a calling to serve our community through the Fort Worth Police Department. Yesterday, he officially graduated and we couldn’t be prouder.

As his cousin, it’s meant a lot for Andy to watch him set this goal and follow through. We’ve seen Jeremy’s work ethic and character firsthand, and Fort Worth is gaining someone who truly cares about serving others.

Congratulations on this huge milestone, Jeremy. 👏🚔

This past Sunday, our team had the privilege of handling the move for Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary — getting these beautiful grand pianos up a flight of stairs and set perfectly for their upcoming performances.

It’s always an honor to serve institutions that keep music alive at this level.

Every instrument has a story, and we take pride in treating each one like it’s our own.

Grand Piano Delivery in Boston’s Financial District | Metroplex Piano Moving

We wrapped up this delivery right in the heart of downtown Boston — just as the city started to clear out for the 5pm rush.

One of the piano legs gave us a little challenge — the screw wouldn’t lock in all the way.

Instead of forcing it, we picked up a thread kit, rethreaded it properly, and made sure everything sat solid and secure.

By the time we finished, the sun was setting over the skyline, the piano was in place, and the client was smiling.

Sometimes it’s not about how fast you move… it’s about how well you finish.

🎹 A Piece of History, Reawakened

Today, we had the honor of moving a true American treasure — a Steinway Heirloom Model B that once belonged to Thomas Edison himself.

This piano was hidden away for over 80 years, and if you look closely at the treble side above the fallboard, you’ll find something extraordinary — Edison’s own teeth marks.

He would rest his teeth there to “hear” the music through vibrations — a man of invention finding sound in silence.

Moments like this remind us that every piano carries more than strings and wood — it carries stories.
And our job is to move those stories safely into their next chapter.
