We have a

lways associated Owls with wisdom and books. The owl is a bird of the night so an association with the moon is also suggested. They have short tail feathers and are silent in flight, stealth like. They seem curious about things but are happy to sit and wait until the right time to catch dinner. Gail and Michael have felt a steadfastness and a centered calmness in the owl's spirit. Clover brings thoughts of luck and Leprechauns (it has been said that they have to reveal secrets if caught). The white flowers are a favorite of honey bees. There is a wonderful plant named Owl's Clover, but that is another story, come by and ask. About the First and Second Tuesday Meetings:

The Fort Worth Church of Light’s Spiritual Astrology Applied Study Group meets the first Tuesday of every month at Owl’s Clover, Inc from 7:00PM until 9:00 PM. Your first time to this meeting can be free. Other meetings we ask for $15.00. Each of these meeting will have a different focus. Some meetings we will look at all the participant’s natal charts and share what each of us “seeing” regarding a particular placement of a planet. If Mercury or another planet is going retrograde we discuss what sign this is taking place in and what this planetary and sign energy will likely bring to our daily life. We will look at everyone’s chart and discuss the aspects and the possible situations and actions. One of the strengths of the Brotherhood of Light teachings is the Power, Harmony and Discord. (PHD) Most astrology systems teach that the Sun Sign holds the most important information but in actuality another planet might hold the key to better understanding how you think, make decisions and your motivation. What is the Planet that holds the most Power in Your natal chart? We have people that attend that are very new at astrology and use cheat sheets to assist them and we have others that attend that have been using astrology for decades. Please come and join us to better understand your self, the world we live in and those we are sharing this exciting time on Mother Earth. The Fort Worth Church of Light’s Book Study Group meets the second Tuesday of every month at Owl’s Clover, Inc from 7:00PM until 9:00 PM. We choose one of the 21 courses in the Brotherhood of Light and come together to discuss and answer around 6-8 of the 25 questions for the final exam. This is an open book exam. The curriculum consists of 3 Branches of the Occult Sciences: Astrology, Alchemy and Magic. You can attend and learn the material and if you would like to become a member you can turn in your exam and upon successful completion of a course you will be awarded a Not for Sale Award Manuscript. Upon completion of 11 courses you can apply to become a missionary teacher for the courses you have completed. Upon completion of all 21 courses you will receive your Hermitician Certificate and you are eligible to join the “Order of the Sphinx”. The purpose of the study group is to have a community for discussion and support on applying what we are learning to our everyday lives.

With the extreme temperatures we’re experiencing now and throughout the week, pets and outdoor animals are at risk.

Bring your animals indoors and limit outdoor time to potty breaks only. If you’re able, check on neighbors, friends, and community animals who may need extra support during this cold.

If you notice a pet or livestock outside and unsafe in these conditions, please call your local police department to report it. Speaking up truly can make a difference.

Thank you for caring for one another and for being a voice for the animals who rely on us. 🐾

I am grateful for so many people and things in my life. Michael and I have been rereading the book "The Intention Experiment" by Lynn McTaggart. I believe it was when we were first reading the book, that the intention for our Meditation Circles was given to me. We ask everyone to dedicate a part of their intention during their time in Circle to the "Truth of Oneness and the Abundance of Love".

This is such an important time to gather together and support one another with our physical presence. The whole world can seem to be spinning in directions that are hard to understand.

I am setting my intentions to tell those I love how important they are to me. I am telling my body how much I appreciate this form and being. I have torn up my meniscus in my right knee and will have to have surgery soon.

I hope you can come and join us this Sunday July 17th at 11:00AM for The Fort Worth Church of Light- Monthly Spiritual Gathering. I am grateful we found "The Religion of the Stars". C.C.Zain wrote frequently that "if you wanted to find God- to get out in Nature".

Full Moon in Capricorn is Tuesday, July 19th. We will sit Circle at 7:30PM we ask that everyone comes closer to 7:00PM so we can visit and get settled in. After the Meditation Circle we will have further celebration with the community feasting table. We have some of the best cooks imaginable. Please don't think you have to cook something, let Albertson's or your favorite store do the cooking for you. This time of year fresh fruit is fantastic. The plums, nectarines,peaches and pineapple have all be better than last season.

I look forward to spending some time in laughter and friendship.

Oh, as with all our functions, there is the community feasting table after the Sunday gathering. Ahhh food and friends, isn't that the life?

The Fort Worth Church of Light Spiritual Gathering is tomorrow, on Father's Day. This is not a "We talk you Listen" kind of gathering. This is such an important time to come together and build the Love and Gratitude energy.
