“What will you make of these beautiful stones?” asked my muse?

Hmm…🤔 They’d make great earrings!

“Fantastic!” she exclaimed. “But then you’d have to figure out how to package them.”

Well…I’ve got these scraps of leather….I could cut them to size and punch holes in them and they’d be very urban chic.

“Brilliant! But the leather won’t fit onto a rack so how will you display them?”

I know…I can put them in this vintage ash tray! That way they’re storied and their unique shapes and sizes will really stand out.

“Sounds like you’ve got it figured out,” said the muse, satisfied. But then she turned to the inner critic who said, “Yeah, but where could you possibly sell them?”

Oh, that’s easy, I replied. I’ll just post them on the inter webs and hope that people see them 😂

Nothing’s really easy when you’re starting creating new, but as says…EVERYTHING is figureoutable. Listen to the promptings of the muse; prove the critic wrong.

Every year I try to tell myself to WAIT. Inevitably, the itch of spring gets the best of me and I pack away my sweaters too early and fill my pots with plants before checking to see if the last of the cold fronts has made its way through. It always results in cold toes and seedling casualties.

But this year, I made myself a promise. If I could wait until the last week of March (Farmer’s Almanac’s time-tested suggestion) I’ll not only be able to buy plants for myself, I’ll also give myself permission to sell them again.

And so, you’ll be happy to know that soon and very soon, you’ll be seeing plants pop into this feed (taking it back old school for those of you that have followed me with .collective since its inception).

Because everybody knows that the best people are plant people 😉😘
