💚♻️ What an incredible day at the Jorgensen Family YMCA! ♻️💚
We are still smiling from the amazing turnout at our electronics recycling event on April 25,2026. Thank you to every single person who showed up, cleaned out their closets, garages, and junk drawers, and chose to recycle responsibly with us. Your support truly made a difference.
Because of your participation, we were able to donate almost $500 to the YMCA Teen Group — helping support programs that empower and uplift local teens. That’s community impact in action, and it wouldn’t have happened without you.
From OmniSource Electronics Recycling and the Jorgensen Family YMCA team:
Thank you for caring. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for helping us build a cleaner, stronger community.

⚡️🤣 NEW HAVEN, SOUND THE ALARM — IT’S HAPPENING. 🤣⚡️
Tomorrow is the FREE Electronics Recycling Collection Event, and your basement is already breathing a sigh of relief.
📅 Saturday, May 9th, 2026
⏰ 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Noon!)
📍 2201 Summit Street — the Utility Building
💸 FREE. As in… free. As in… the price your kids think everything costs.
If you’ve got:
• A TV so old it still has a butt
• A laptop that wheezes like it just ran a marathon
• A tangled ball of cords that may actually be alive
• A printer that only prints when it feels emotionally supported
BRING. IT. OVER.
We’ll take your electronics, recycle them responsibly, and send them off to a better place — far away from your garage, where they can no longer silently judge your life choices.
♻️ FREE for all New Haven residents!
Tell your friends, your neighbors, your coworkers, and that one guy who still uses a Blackberry. Let’s make this the most productive Saturday morning since… ever.
See you bright and early — caffeine recommended, good vibes mandatory. ⚡️

⚡️🤣 ATTENTION FORT WAYNE: It’s time to break up with your old electronics.
They’ve been sitting in your basement for YEARS… it’s not you, it’s them. ♻️💔
This Saturday, April 25th • 9 AM–Noon • Jorgensen YMCA
Bring us your dusty, crusty, “I‑swear-I’ll-fix-it-one-day” gadgets and we’ll give them a new life.
🔌 If it plugs in, charges, beeps, blinks, or once held a battery — we want it.
Yes, even that mystery cord you’ve moved to three different houses.
💵 Pricing (aka: the “please take this out of my house” menu):
- TVs under 46" — $20
- TVs over 46" — $30
- Everything else — $2 each
(Bring the whole junk drawer. We dare you.)
💳 Cash or Card accepted!
No excuses… unless your excuse is that your TV is too heavy. In that case, bring a friend.
💙 All proceeds support the YMCA Teen Group, helping local teens build leadership, confidence, and community — so your old electronics are basically becoming superheroes.
