First of all, I know there is a lot of excitement that has been building for our 33% off sale for cards and our 50% off sale. I would like to take a few moments to go over the rules and what you can expect tomorrow
1. For most of the sealed card products (ie Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, ect), you must open the card product in store (and only the card product, toys may stay sealed). The box that contained the cards will be thrown away, and the packs will be cut open to prevent anyone from being able to flip them. When the sale is included, we expect most of our sealed card products, including Pokémon to be below MSRP
2. The only time that Rule 1 does not apply for will be for the Union Arena, The Time I get reincarnated as Slime, Magic the Gathering Super Heroes, and Pokémon Series 2 Partner Illustrations series
3. For those who are active in our Pokémon Community and have been attending our sanctioned events (you know who you are), for you must open the Pokémon Series 2 Partner Illustrations Series if you want the member price
4. For Pokémon, and One Piece it will be one sealed item per person, and that is it. In addition, there will be a strict limit of 5 cards that are coming out of the display case. You may get as many cards that are not in the display case as you want. The 5 Card limit lifts at 4PM EDT
5. Please note that we will be opening our store early, at 11AM for our Card Tournament Players. For Pokemon, that will only be the month of May while for all other card games it will be from April and May (June in some cases). For Pokémon don’t forget Kids club is considered a sanctioned event. We have been giving lists by all cards games on who has attended such events during the time frame. Don’t try to cheat the system, you will be caught. For the public we will open at 12PM.
6. Please understand that we should have more than enough products (especially on sealed front as I have been quietly stockpiling for such an event). So, there is no reason for anyone to be standing at the door until 10:45 AM for our Card Tournament players (as defined by rule 5) or 11:45 AM for the public. To help ensure this rule, we will be doing a random drawing to determine who gets in first. We see anyone lining up before those times, we will ensure you don’t get said ticket to be in the random drawing, ensuring that you are last.
7. For the toys, board game, card accessories, figures there will be really no limits, except for one product which will be clearly marked and that product will still be 50% off, you may only get one though. So 99% of the time you may get as many or as little as you want. (Rule 1 does not apply to toys) Everything you see that is a toy, a board game, card accessories, figures is really 50% off. We have gotten a lot of concerns on this front. When I have a sale, I have a sale. I don’t need you to sing the Star Spangle Banner, while jumping on your left foot, while going in a circle while eating an apple pie while being blindfolded while eating with a toothpick. (For those who didn’t get the joke, all of our items that are involved with rule 7 is included. I’m not going to do this toy is 50% off, but this toy is not, or this toy is 50% off only if you buy this toy at full price)
8. We will not be buying or trading on Saturday June 20, 2026 for obvious reasons
9. Finally, although this has never been really a problem here, as our community is very respectful, we are expected to be very busy tomorrow. Please treat each other with the kindness and dignity that everyone deserves as that will go a very long way. The sale is for you, the customer, tomorrow. This is how we thank you for supporting our families and for giving us enough money so we may put food on our tables. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.
