My husband is many things, not just
an amazing, talented and passionate chef. He is funny and charming, strong and confident, an animal lover and a true gentleman.

We met in 2004 playing an on line sniper game. He was in the Netherlands and I was in the United States. We quickly became great friends, always finding each other in the game and eventually on MSN messenger. By 2014, we had both undergone major life changes that found us single at the same time. We had graduated to Skype and our friendship grew into love.

In 2015 he informed me that he had purchased a plane ticket and he would be coming to visit me for the very first time. After two short but magical weeks, he returned to the Netherlands with plans we had made to begin the immigration process. Once everything was approved, in 2017, he sold everything he owned, packed what clothes he could in two suitcases and a third with his two most prized possessions; his Mac and his chef’s knives and moved to the United States. We married 10 days after his plane landed in March of 2017.

He has been my best friend and my biggest fan. He has supported and encouraged me to do what I love! I am proud to be The Chef’s Wife!
