Hey, I know we love to post about our restoration work because we love those old guitars, but did you know we can also handle your basic guitar maintenance and upgrades? Here's a Fender American Standard Tele having a new set of Fralin split-blade blues pickups installed and a refret. If you haven't checked out Lindy Fralin Pickups, we highly recommend you do. We have been busy in the shop setting up tools, getting the new spray booth up and running, and organizing the contents of seemingly endless boxes and bins, but we took a few minutes to send this newly restored 1913 Gibson A4 mandolin home. While we didn’t do a full restoration, we did do a refret with binding, repaired a crack in the back, and touched up to preserve the finish. All set for another 100 years!

We've spent the week packing up our shop at 445 S. Bethlehem Pike and moving to 548 S. Bethlehem Pike in Fort Washington, less than a mile up the street. We've accumulated quite a bit since first moving to 445 in 2014, including some rather large, heavy tools. We've got some great friends with big trucks that we're forever grateful for. We've almost wrapped up and spent the evening getting things set up and ready to work. If we owe you a call or text, we'll be in touch in a day or two.

The property where our new shop is being built is in a flood zone. It backs up to the Wissahickon Creek, which is beautiful but can be problematic with heavy rain like we're having today. Thanks to Harth Builders and InLand Design, LLC, every precaution has been taken into consideration regarding flooding, including this rain garden. A property that previously could have been underwater is now simply beautiful. We can’t wait to move in!

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved friend and business partner, Jon Shoulberg. Jon played a vital role in our shop and even more than that he had become a cherished member of our family. His daily presence in the shop will be greatly missed.
