Introducing The Union Artist Studios’ Art Lounge. We have renovated and equipped our common area, transforming it into a cozy Art Lounge space where you can engage in artistic pursuits during our open studio days. For a nominal fee, you can spend a creative day with us, with art sessions commencing at 10am and concluding at 2pm. Feel free to stay as long as you wish and come and go as needed during open hours. Our Art Lounge offers a variety of creative activities, including watercolors, soft pastels, color pencils, polymer clay, knot bracelets, and paper crafting. You are welcome to take your creations home with you. We invite you to bring a friend or two and enjoy a cup of coffee or a specialty drink from Arts & Eats Café while you are here. Our lounge is also kid-friendly. Please note that the Art Lounge is only open when our sign is displayed outside Arts & Eats Café. To confirm hours before visiting, kindly call 239-955-0405, Wednesday through Sunday, between 9am and 2pm.

The Cape Coral Art Center proudly presents Strangescapes, a new solo exhibition by acclaimed abstract expressionist David Acevedo.

In Strangescapes, Acevedo transports viewers into surreal terrains—places that exist only in imagination yet feel hauntingly familiar. These vivid, layered works blur the boundaries between memory and invention, evoking dreamlike versions of his Puerto Rican roots and the ever-shifting landscapes of the mind.

Known for his bold use of color, texture, and emotional depth, Acevedo invites audiences to explore the beauty hidden within chaos and the stories that emerge from abstraction.
