We will be back for the 3rd annual Mermaid fest April 2-3, 2022 with an upgraded location at The Bay Oaks community park in the center of Fort Myers Beach, closer to the tourists and Times Square

This weekend is Mermaid fest! Friday thru Sunday 10am to 5pm daily.
Anne Hollister will have her quirky fun, nature inspired paintings. "Can I touch it?" is a common question asked in her booth. She creates unique but simple designs that are instantly recognized as SLACK TIDE by their 3D raised white outlines. Two of Anne's favorite things are the sea and flowers and it shows within her designs. Each design is hand painted on a WOODEN panel and consists of many paint layers!
--unique paint layering technique that gives each simple design:
texture, 3D effect, and signature raised outlines!
Don't forget the mermaid contest is at 3pm Saturday..

Mixed media artist John Cheng will be joining us for Mermaid Fest and Tamiami Spring Art & Craft Show. John has been equally versed in Western and Oriental techniques. He has succeeded in infusing the two in a harmonious whole. Through his work, one can detect the blended essence of realistic and abstract styles--- the smooth gracefulness emitted through the brush strokes, colors and composition go deeper than mere visual attraction.
