Let me be very clear... Not now nor have I ever been attached to Needful Things or the owners of that establishment.

I am Fort McCoy Thrift and have had this page AND this business name since 2014. I have no connection, personal or business related, with Dan Thompson or his felon wife.. whatever her name is.

I found them to be toxic and abusive in nature back in 2020, when Dan and his wife harassed me while I was in another establishment located at the square, as a paying customer. I have not went into any of their stores, nor engaged with the two, since.

My heart goes out to those that were swindled and duped by the couple, or those financially effected by them taking up business in our local community.

I do not have anything to sell at the moment worth posting, nor do I have the time to be constantly active on this page.. but I do sell "new and used" items from time to time (a term I used on my business card when I was located in the square back in 2014-2016).

I simply needed to clarify who I was, in light of most recent events involving Needful Things.

We haven't posted in a while but we have been quite busy. We are still selling and getting new items everyday.

Would like to remind you all that we aren't the thrift store located in the Fort McCoy Plaza any longer. We moved last year, but we are still going strong.

If there is an item you are looking for or have items and you just don't want to deal with a yard sale in this heat or dont want the hassle of finding a place to donate to, give us a call. We do pickup and delivery.

We are always available by phone or online. If we dont have the item you are looking for, we will do our very best to find it BELOW your budget.

So give us a call and remember, Fort McCoy Thrift Store has been serving this community since 2014. We may have moved, but we are still, and always have been, dedicated to customer service.
