Alright peeps, let’s talk decompression.

So, let’s break down why decompression is so crucial for adopted/foster animals and how you can help your new pet adjust to their forever home.

Why Decompression Matters
Stress Reduction: Moving to a new home is stressful for animals. Imagine being taken from a place you know, with people and animals you’re familiar with, and suddenly being thrust into a completely new environment. It’s overwhelming!

Trust Building: Animals need time to learn that they can trust you and feel safe in their new home. Rushing this process can lead to anxiety and behavioral issues.

How to Help Your New Pet Decompress
Create a Safe Space: Set up a quiet, comfortable area where your new pet can retreat and feel safe. This could be a cozy corner with their crate or a quiet room away from the hustle and bustle.
