People see these and think:
“Oh, that hadda be factory made.”
Nope. It’s handmade — like actually, sit-down-for-hours, back hurting, playlist running, hand-cramping kinda handmade. 💀🎨✋🏽
I charge $50 USD for one Trinidad flag 🇹🇹
And I get it — when you convert that to about $350 TTD, it feels like a lot.
Trust me, I really do understand. Especially if you’re used to buying mass-produced items.
But here’s my side:
I live in the U.S.
I source my materials here.
I pay rent, utilities, taxes, and all the costs that come with running a small business in the States 🇺🇸
So my pricing reflects not just the time I put in — but also the reality of creating handmade art in the U.S.
At the end of the day, even if you don’t buy — I hope you see this:
You’re not just looking at a charm.
You’re looking at hours of work, skill, energy, and love.
A celebration of Trini culture, made by hand, with heart❤️🤍🖤.
If you’ve ever created anything by hand — food, music, crafts, writing — you know:
The value isn’t just in the result.
It’s in the process.
👉🏽 Not every small thing should mean small money.
If you’ve ever made something with your hands, you feel me.
So let’s chat: What’s the wildest thing someone told you was “too expensive” — when you knew it took real sweat and soul?
