Due to scheduling conflicts and other unforeseen issues we have decided to hang up our spatulas and take a break from making the world’s biggest ploye. We have made the giant ploye for at least 25 Years and figured it was time! Thank you to all that have come to cheer us on and support local businesses and organizations! Last week we were honored to receive The Shep Lee Community Service Award at the Maine Family Business Awards. Out of 500 family owned businesses who were nominated, we were 1 of 7 businesses that received an award at this year’s award ceremony. A lot of hard work goes into owning a farm. We all wear many hats, 365 days a year. We want to thank the Institute for Family Owned Businesses for recognizing our farm and for the individual who nominated us. Congratulations to Joe, Phil, Janice, and all of our employees who make everything happen on our farm. ❤️

Happy Farmer’s Day to these two hardworking men who work day in and day out to run our farm. From planting and harvesting to milling and packaging buckwheat, to raising and maintaining 100 plus head of cattle each year, and MUCH more, these two do it all.
