Hey everyone! I created this page to hopefully answer any questions you have about the clothing exchanges.
What this is: This is a way for the community to get rid of good clean unwanted clothing and get something new for themselves at no charge!
How it works: I collect clothing donations of a certain type for a few weeks from those willing to give. I rotate between types (baby clothes, kids, teens and women's) so check to see what I'm accepting at the time. Then I sort and lay everything out. Then I open up to the community to give it all away.
Rules: Items must be in good condition and must be washed before drop off. Most things that have been in bags/boxes for a while are probably in good condition but I still ask that you run them through the wash once more before donating. (I've seen some crazy stuff stuff stuck to clothes.) 😳😆
Everything is intended to be FREE but for those who want to give financially I keep a donation jar out and I have a venmo account:
How it started: I was looking to get rid of some of my clothes to make room for new ones. I'm pretty cheap so I reached out to Facebook to see if anyone wanted to do a swap. Before I knew it I had people asking if we could do all sizes and maternity. I thought why not? We held our first exchange in February and many ladies expressed their wishes about having one for little ones. We expanded and now I rotate between babies, kids and women's clothing. (I don't have enough men come shop or we would do them as well but I usually get plenty of men's size S-XL in the kids exchange if you are looking for it).
