1967 Hatfield Funeral Home

From Frank Vega

Hatfield Funeral Home, established in 1967, was the first funeral home in Sierra Vista. Courtesy Jeff Hatfield.

Bottom photo: boarded-up and vacant for many years. The building caught on fire early January 2013.

Anonymous comment on Frank's blog:

I am so happy to finally learn what this building was with all of the ghost stories I heard living in Sierra Vista. We just called it "The Morgue" with no clue to what it really was. Spent a few scary nights knocking three times on the door and then listening. Probably one of the scariest moments of my teenage years
