Peacefinders

Peacefinders Peacefinders exists to promote the way of peace as taught by the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.

Our desire is that you may know the peace that comes from knowing, loving and following Him--a peace that the world cannot give, passing all understanding. Our number one goal is to help bring people into a close saving relationship with Jesus Christ that will prepare them to meet the crisis of the ages just before us and be ready to welcome Him as King of Kings and Lord of Lords when He comes in

the clouds of glory with all His holy angels to take us home to our Heavenly Father. Over the past 47 years, we have distributed free books and other Christ-centered, Bible-based media to over 25 million homes and hundreds of correctional facilities across the United States, bringing hope, peace, comfort, and encouragement to thousands.

UFOs real? The Bible doesn't answer every sighting, but it does teach that humanity is not alone.

Scripture reveals the existence of holy angels and fallen angels—intelligent spiritual beings who can appear, communicate, perform signs, and influence human affairs.

The biblical question isn't, "What was that in the sky?"

The biblical question is, "What message does it bring, and does it agree with God's Word?"

Not every supernatural manifestation comes from God. Truth—not signs, wonders, or appearances—is the test.

Connect with us and we will share some Scriptures that help you study this for yourself.

Some people say, “They’re just words. Words are neutral. What’s wrong with them?”

And in one sense, that’s understandable. Words, by themselves, are simply sounds and symbols. But language carries meaning.

In our current culture, many forms of profanity have become tied to anger, disrespect, vulgarity, sexualized humor, and contempt. Over time, what may have once been “just words” now often carries emotional weight and intent that goes beyond simple language.

Even so, many Christians still use these expressions in everyday speech without much thought.

But how does that align with Ephesians 4:29?

“Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. ”

This raises an important question: if Scripture calls believers to words that build up and bless others, how should that shape the way we speak today?

It is a big deal as we compare our words to the loving requirements of Scripture.

Words are never as small as they seem. This isn’t just about vocabulary. It's about the heart behind our words and the impact they have on others. They shape atmospheres, relationships, and the witness of our lives.

It’s worth reflecting on: does my speech consistently reflect the kind of life God is forming in me?

Think about it, and consider what transformation might look like in everyday speech.

We’ve created loads of resources that point to Scripture and the loving God of Scripture who has a big deal of joy and peace now as we interact with others and for later. All for those who choose His way of goodness.

Recently, I read about a bill proposing that the motto "In God We Trust" be displayed on all federal buildings.

That's nice, I suppose.

But will a motto make us a better people?

Were we truly godly as a nation before?

These are questions that should cause us to think deeply.

What does it actually mean to be godly? What has having this motto on our currency accomplished for us as a people?

And perhaps the most important questions are personal:

Is my heart godly? Do I truly trust in God?

Those are the deepest questions we must answer.

Our free resources are designed to help people see Jesus more clearly—to understand who He is, what He is like, and why He can be trusted.

When we truly know Him, we can choose to live a godly life and allow that influence to ripple outward, impacting others in our nation with the love of God.

Christians are not immune to disappointment—even deep, painful disappointment.

We can be disappointed when something we once believed to be true turns out not to be so. We can be disappointed with how our church functions, with our families, with life itself, and yes, even with ourselves.

In moments like these, there is one sure safeguard against allowing disappointment to slip into despair: turning our minds and hearts to God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God desires that we be filled with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13), no matter what we are facing.

He reminds us that even our “light and momentary affliction”, including disappointment carries purpose.

It is temporary, yet it works within us a lasting weight of glory and the shaping of character that endures beyond this life.

The Bible does speak about generational curses. Some interpret this to mean that certain struggles or bondages automatically come upon people because of sins or deficiencies within their family line, and that they must be “delivered” from those curses.

In one sense, this is true for all humanity. We have all come under the curse of sin, and through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ we are delivered from the curse of sin and death.

But on an everyday level, are families automatically cursed because one family member lived in unrepentant sin? If someone in a family was a murderer, does that mean future generations are destined to follow the same path?

What do you think?

Would you like to explore more of what the Bible actually says about this issue?

Much of it comes down to how we interpret Scripture. And interpretation matters, because it shapes mindset. Is our understanding leading us toward freedom, peace, and transformed living? Or is it keeping us stuck in fear, shame, or hopelessness?

Let’s talk about it.

We walk down the street, shop in stores, and sit side by side in traffic with people we may never know are carrying deep pain inside.

Even closer to home, we play sports with friends, gather with family, attend church, and connect within our communities yet how often do people truly know the hurts we carry?

Too often, we bottle them up, force a smile, and answer the routine question, “How are you?” with, “I’m fine,” even when we are far from it.

What do we do when the pain feels too deep to share?

It is our hope that our book, “The Path to Peace,” will help begin the healing process for your deepest hidden hurts and wounds, leading you toward freedom, peace, and renewed joy.

Many Christians are not certain what the Battle of Armageddon, mentioned just one time in Scripture, actually is.

Some think it is an actual, physical battle. Others think it is a battle of the mind calculated to deceive.

I lean one way and am pretty solid on it but would not argue because the issue of greatest import is that God promises to be with us until the end.

He is the truth, that will not only win the battle but has already won the war.
