Peacefinders

Peacefinders Peacefinders exists to promote the way of peace as taught by the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.

Our desire is that you may know the peace that comes from knowing, loving and following Him--a peace that the world cannot give, passing all understanding. Our number one goal is to help bring people into a close saving relationship with Jesus Christ that will prepare them to meet the crisis of the ages just before us and be ready to welcome Him as King of Kings and Lord of Lords when He comes in

the clouds of glory with all His holy angels to take us home to our Heavenly Father. Over the past 47 years, we have distributed free books and other Christ-centered, Bible-based media to over 25 million homes and hundreds of correctional facilities across the United States, bringing hope, peace, comfort, and encouragement to thousands.

Did you know that the word “science” means knowledge gained by studying the physical and natural world through observation and experimentation?

Romans 1:20 sounds a lot like that, doesn’t it?

The beautiful thing is that science is not incompatible with faith in God. In fact, the more we observe and learn about the world around us, the more we can see evidence of God’s creation and learn about who He is.

Science doesn’t have to take us away from faith—it can deepen it.

So cool! 🙌

It's midterms! And during election season, we hear a lot of statements like:

“You can’t be a Christian and vote that way.”

“You can’t be a Democrat and a Christian.”

“You can’t be a Republican and a Christian.”

But what does the Bible actually say?

Scripture calls us to vote and live according to biblical convictions, wisdom, justice, truth, righteousness, mercy, and love and care for our neighbors and the vulnerable, and of course human dignity to name a few.

Those biblical principles should absolutely influence how we evaluate candidates and policies.

It also reminds us that Christians can disagree on matters of conscience without condemning one another (Romans 14).

Our political party is not our identity. Our salvation is not determined by our voting record.

We belong to Christ first.

So let’s disagree politically without making political allegiance a test of Christian faith.

Parties change. Candidates change. Christ does not.

Knowing that God calls us His Friend reminds us that He isn’t distant or unapproachable.

He is near, present, and deeply interested in our lives.

God give such a beautiful invitation: to know Him not only as my Father, Lord, Creator and Savior, but as my Friend that we can talk to, trust, and walk with every day.

That's good.❤️ Hits me real good. What about you?

Am I the only one who gets frustrated when I start reading an article, only to discover that the information I’m looking for is behind a paywall?

Well, I don’t want it to be that way with the gospel.

Jesus never hides the truth or catches us by surprise. He is completely transparent: there is a cost to following Him. But what we discover is that the cost is ultimately a blessing and a benefit.

That’s why we want to share this little book with you—for free. No paywall, no surprises. Just an invitation to consider what it means to follow Jesus.

If you have questions after reading it, reach out to us. We’d love to walk with you as you explore the cost of following Christ and discover why that cost is worth it.

Peace, friends! ❤️

Before summer is over, there’s one decision you shouldn’t put off.

Some are already back to school.

Some are getting ready to go.

But there is still time.

Time for what?

Time to respond to the voice of God.

Hebrews 3:15 says:

“Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”

Maybe you’ve been searching for peace.

Maybe you’ve been carrying guilt, fear, or uncertainty.

Maybe you’ve never experienced the rest and assurance that come through God’s salvation.

Don’t wait for another season.

Let God save you this summer.

If you hear His voice today, don’t harden your heart.

Ask us how.

Read a book.

Reduce your phone time.

Learn a new skill or language.

Think about why you do what you do.

Replace a bad habit with a good one.

Think from another's perspective.

Search for what is good.

Fill your mind with the Word of God.

Get that mind in shape!

Yes. I think it might be a great idea.

The Bible is full of characters we can identify with. Find your biblical avatar—the person whose story reflects parts of your own journey.

Discover their flaws, their struggles, and their victories, but most of all, see how God worked through them.

Then be confident that God can work through you too. He knows you, loves you, and desires to walk with you every step of the way.

It sounds good, right?

Stay strong.
Don't stop.
Muscle up.
Get grit.

We love those messages because they remind us to keep going and not give up.

But here's the question...

Are those always the best answers for every season of life?

Sometimes the greatest strength we can show is the willingness to surrender.

Because the truth is:

We don't know it all. God does.
We aren't the strongest. God is.

Sometimes we need to stop fighting, stop striving, and simply place ourselves in His hands.

Surrender isn't giving up.
Surrender is trusting the One who sees what we cannot see.

"Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. For He is our God... If only you would listen to His voice today!"
Psalm 95:6–7

Maybe today isn't a day to muscle through.

Maybe it's a day to bow down and listen. .
