Newest make! I saw the pattern, had to have it AND try it out immediately OF COURSE- despite my massive laundry list of ‘things to finish, and things to start! I did the beanie first, then reversed it and decided part way through to do it as a ponytail one for me! Great pattern from Crazy4CrochetMomma

I’m creating again!! The sweatshirt was a gift my daughter asked me to make for her friend’s birthday this past weekend and these were the best pictures I got. I was just so happy to finally make something cute and fun- and not just fix something my kids ripped. I love it and I have 2 more kids ones and adult one on the chopping block next! The afghan was a Christmas gift- it turned out absolutely beautiful.

Just a quick poncho I whipped up yesterday for my daughter who’s in a cast and can’t wear a reg jacket now that it’s chilly! Double layer fleece body and single layer hood lined with a T-shirt to help minimize frizz!

First set of my ample sized receiving blankets in a while and they’re absolutely adorable. These had me missing a baby to swaddle AND Hawaii. Appx 40” sq they’re amazing for swaddling and will last a long while. My 4 yo still has his 2 faves I made when he was born!

Oh my goodness! Between moving and just trying to enjoy summer with my monsters my creative energy has been so low. I found 'crochet water balloons' back in the spring and go figure, now that it's nearing the end of summer, I finally got my hands on some yarn and whipped up a few! They're so cute and fast- I can't wait to get a small handful so we can try them out ☺️.

In the new house now, and guess which room is last to be unpacked/put together....that's right- the sewing room/playroom. I have this fabric dying to become some running shorts for 2 or leggings for one, a wreath to finish for my door, and the countless others things started and not started that I want to make and nowhere to do it. Soon though...hopefully!

Every time I try to go to my room to create I get distracted. Sunday I found a little free time, went down pulled out some fabric but ended up fixing the binding on my sons blanket instead....and then a skirt needed a ruffle fixed, a dress had a hole where the bodice meets the skirt, and a couple other things. Then I was over it. Tried again Monday during quiet time...cleaned out some drawers and a shelf instead. I mean, yes that's a good thing, because we're prepping to move and the less unnecessary stuff I bring with the better I'll be able to get my new space set up (if I have a space)! But really, I just want to SEW ALL THE THINGS before they pack it all up. Another day i guess.
