On this day 30 years ago I married the most wonderful man!! He was 20 and I was 17. I know my granny prayed over me everyday and prayed for my future husband as well.
Tim and I met at church as children and he was there for me when my little brother had a horrible accident when I was 11. He visited our house and still picks on me abt the way I bullied my brother while he was in his wheelchair.
We were best friends as young teenagers. We hung out a lot here and there and started dating when I was 14. He taught me how to drive, cook, and so much more. Tim has always been the best care taker over me, he puts me first in everything. He loves me when I’m not lovable, he has cared for me through the worst times, through my sickness and through the loss of my brother, held my hand as I delivered our four children and when I lost a baby.
We have never been the ones that want to go spend money on places, we are simple and love going jeeping, canoeing, boating, hiking, camping basically anything outdoors. We will be riding and turn down a dirt road and find a trail to walk or decide to head off on the weekend with no destination in mind. When we do go on vacation we end up staying a night and moving on to the next place, we can break down a camp site in less than an hour, we always time it!!
Tim is a very selfless person and prays over me everyday, all day. He is the most God fearing man I know and has led his family to put God first through his actions. The kids call their daddy when they are dealing with stuff because they know he will give them the best advise and pray them through it. He has held Bible study on Wednesday nights for the kids just to make sure they’re getting the word in their life. There’s nothing , absolutely nothing he wouldn’t do for his family. I could go on and on abt hm so I’m gonna just say that I’m the luckiest girl to have him as my hubby!

I want to thank everybody for your prayers while I’ve struggled this week. I feel them all and I am feeling more myself today. It was time for my rent to go up and I simply wouldn’t be able to afford the new price so I had no choice but close and it’s gonna be ok! It did throw me into a state of temporary depression because I’ve worked very hard to accomplish my dreams and I was mourning the loss of my dream😕 it was a season in my life that was so amazing, I’ve met so many AMAZING people and built some life long relationships. I love you all and can’t thank you enough for supporting The Mustard Seed for the last year and a half. Hey who knows, God may not be done with this chapter but I know that I’m gonna take a mental break for a bit and get back to my devotional time that I’ve lost along the way. I’m gonna miss seeing your faces every week and hearing the crazy stories. I really do love you all so much♥️♥️♥️
