This is officially my favorite Diwali craft!! What I did to make it??

I designed these templates and asked my favorite Cricut machine to cut it for me…

I made my box from scratch and spray ointes it in gold but you can also use a shoe box lid to make it!!

Use battery powered lights to stick it at the bottom of the box. Use either double sided foam or just some layers of thick paper to stick on the bottom to give a gap between the 1st layer and the bottom of the box.
Repeat it with the other layers too..

End goal is to give gaps between the layers and keep sticking the string lights on each layer.

After the last layer, just decorate the end of the box with some pretty laces and switch on the light.

It takes 30 minutes to decorate a backdrop for Diwali… Here is what you have to do.

1. Pre-make your paper flower backdrop beforehand that is easy to install(watch my previous video)
2. Put the curtain on the rod before going to the event.
3. Put the rod on the stand in a lower level
4. Hang the lights and the garlands and secure the flowers with huge backdrop clips.
5. Adjust the height of the stand to an avg human height for pictures

Last but not the least - Do not forget to ask 4 of your closest friends to help you 😝
